Besides, TFA and G1 are two entirely different continuities. Comparing the two is quite literally like comparing apples to oranges. In fact, comparing any two Transformers lines is completely absurd, as they're supposed to stand alone as their own universe/story line.

Why? Animated has everything G1 failed to have. Complex, interesting characters, Serious plots while still retaining the lighthearted charm, and excellent animation
